Find Your Dupe Fragrance

Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 15, 2026

The short version

Find Your Dupe is a static website. There are no accounts and no advertising trackers, and nothing you do here is sold or shared with advertisers. The only personal information we ever ask for is an email address, and only if you choose to join the mailing list. We use one privacy-focused, cookieless analytics tool to count visits, described below.

The quiz

Your quiz answers are processed entirely in your browser to show you a fragrance recommendation. They are not sent to us, stored on a server, or shared with anyone.

Analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views and see which pages people find useful. It is cookieless, it does not fingerprint visitors, and it does not track anyone across other websites — we see aggregate counts, never individuals. See Cloudflare Web Analytics.

The mailing list

If you enter your email address in the sign-up form, it is collected and stored by beehiiv, the newsletter service we use, and is governed by their privacy policy as well as this one. We use it for one thing: sending you the dupe list and occasional updates when new pairings are added. We do not sell, rent, or share it. Every email includes a one-click unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing deletes you from the list.

Affiliate links

Some links on this site are affiliate links to third-party retailers. If you click one, that retailer or its affiliate network (such as Commission Junction or Awin) may set cookies in your browser so the retailer can attribute a purchase to this site. Those cookies are governed by the retailer's and network's own privacy policies — we never see who you are, only anonymous aggregate counts of clicks and commissions.

Hosting

This site is hosted on Cloudflare. Like most web hosts, Cloudflare may keep standard technical server logs (such as IP address and pages requested) to serve the site and protect it from abuse, as described in Cloudflare's privacy policy. We do not use those logs to identify visitors.

Our Pinterest publishing tool

Find Your Dupe operates an internal tool ("Find Your Dupe Publisher") that uses the Pinterest API to publish our own pins to our own Pinterest business account. The tool accesses only our account. It does not access, collect, store, or process any data about other Pinterest users, and it does not interact with anyone else's content. Its access credentials are stored privately and are never shared or sold. If you interact with our pins on Pinterest, that interaction is governed by Pinterest's privacy policy.

Changes & contact

If our practices change, we'll update this page and the date at the top. Questions about this policy? Reach us on Pinterest @findyourdupe.
